Introducing Myself

Radical Therapist & Intersectional Healer.

Thank you so much for being here and for coming to my page! Some things I care deeply about are authenticity and relationships, so I’m excited to introduce myself to you so you can get to know me a bit better!

Some Things to Know About Me:

I try to center living in alignment with my values of compassion, self-expression, authenticity, and liberation in everything I do. I also try to live boldly in my identities as a queer, non-binary, neurodivergent, trauma survivor, both inside and outside of my work.

I am a queer intersectional feminist before I am a therapist. I fundamentally believe that the personal, including mental health, is political, and that to be truly supportive, therapists must consistently weave values of liberation and anti-oppression throughout their work.

I spent the first 5 years of my mental health career working with individuals impacted by domestic/intimate partner violence and sexual violence both on college campuses and in shelter settings. I believe all survivors of this kind of trauma deserve a therapeutic space that centers their needs, feelings, autonomy, and joy.

I consider myself a radical healer. This means I view my work in mental health as much more than just being a therapist – I view it as part of who I am, both personally and on a community, historical, and ancestral level.

I believe every individual should have access to mental health resources not only in times of crisis, but also when they want support in thriving and living their best life.

I use an integrative, relational, and creative approach, incorporating skills from Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy, and Somatic Practices. I believe that to heal trauma, we have to process it not just in our minds, but also in our bodies. My hope in my work is to support my clients in developing practices that bring joy and connectedness to their lives in an authentic way.

I believe that embracing joy, rest, and collective care is radically healing.

What to Expect if You Stick Around:

On this page, you can expect a mix of well-thought-out teachings about things I believe in alongside musings straight from my head and heart. Here you’ll find education on topics I’m passionate about – knowledge from credible and ethical sources, folk wisdom from my own self-practices, reflections on tarot and astrology – all mixed in with my own personal thoughts and interpretations.
